Sue Gibbs, Owner
After retiring from her career as a captain at Fedex, sue decided to make her life long dream of riding a reality. Though her daughter rode on the A circuit for years, she wanted to live that dream as well in 2015 she bought the adult hunter horse of her dreams and got to work in her other dream, owning a farm. Designed to a “T”, Sue used the knowledge developed over many years of boarding her daughters horse. Seeing that small details, such as extra wide aisles for room and the steepest pitch roof for air flow in the summer, make huge differences in horse and owner comfort, sue put a year of effort just in the lay out and plan for CRF. Sue’s primary concern is the safety and welfare of the horses and riders at CRF.
Caitie has spent the last 15 years riding on A circuit as a junior then amateur from the A/O hunters to the A/O jumpers. For the last 4 years she has been a PEMF and cold laser practitioner for a vast variety of horses, from racehorses to international Grand Prix horses. Currently she is working on developing OTTB’s in their 2nd careers of field hunting or becoming show hunters. 2019 will be the first year CRF will be attending the RRP Thoroughbred Makeover in Lexington, KY.
A graduate from ETSU with an Equine Science degree, Jessica has worked in many capacities within the equine industry as a professional groom and rider on the training track in Camden. Her experience at the track is imvaluable in her partnership with us in our new endeavor, Compass Rose Thoroughbreds. Where she and Caitie are working together to help OTTB’s find success in their second careers. Her vast knowledge is invaluable at CRF, we rest easy knowing our horses are safe in her very capable hands, whether we are just down the road or out of town for the winter at the horse shows in Florida.
